Facial Data collection and use 

What facial data we collect 

When you use our tooth photography features, the App captures images that include your full face. This is necessary to properly photograph your teeth and smile.

How We Use Face Data

We use facial images for the following purposes:

– Visual Analysis: To help identify areas of concern in your teeth that may benefit from professional dental evaluation

– Smile Features: To enable smile comparison and educational gaming features

– Service Improvement: To improve our visual analysis capabilities using anonymized data

All analysis results are informational only. We do not provide dental opinions or replace professional dental care. Users should always confirm any concerns with a qualified dental professional.

Face Data Storage and Retention

– Storage Location: Your facial images are securely stored using  Amazon Web Services servers located within [specify country/region]

– Retention Period: Identifiable facial images are retained while  your account is active. You may delete your images at any time  through the App settings.

– Anonymized Data: We may retain anonymized facial data for up to 1 year for service improvement purposes. Once anonymized, this  data cannot be linked back to you.

– User Control: You have the right to delete all your facial data  at any time by accessing Settings > Privacy > Delete My Photos,  or by contacting TechSupport@Dentilligence.com

Third-Party Sharing of Face Data

We do not sell or share your facial images with third parties.

Your images are:

– NOT shared with advertisers

– NOT shared with data brokers

– NOT used for any purpose other than those listed above

– Only shared with your chosen dental professional if you

  explicitly request a consultation through the App

Children’s Facial Data

For users under 18:

– Parental consent is required before any photos are taken

– Parents can review and delete their child’s photos at any time

– Children’s facial data receives the same protections as adult data

– We do not use children’s facial data for marketing purposes
